ORDINANCE NO. 80-5-1908
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF POWER CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY, FOR THE SUM OF $41,455.80, FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE LITTLE-
VILLE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH CONSTRUCTION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION A. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Power Con-
struction Company, for the sum of $41,455.80, for construction of the Little-
ville Drainage Improvement Project; said bid Ibeing in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on March 25, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Power Construction Company for construction of the
Littleville Drainage Improvement Project, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the
SECTION 3. The purchase price for such construction shall` 'be
charged to General Fund Account No. 3254.
SECTION 4. This ordinance 'shall be introduced and remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force 'and effect
ten (10) days thereafter.
