ORDINANCE NO. 80-5-1907
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE "BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD AND HONDA
FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOUR 1980 F-350 ONE -TON CABS AND CHASSIS, FOR THE
SUM OF $23,552.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes
Ford and "Honda, for the purchase of four (4) 1980 F-350 1 -ton cabs and chassis;
for the sum of $21,552.00; said bid being in substantial compliance with- the
bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed
by the Board of Commissioners on April 8, 1980, and as contained in the bid of
Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda, which was opened on April 21, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for the trucks authorized
in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said cabs and chassis shall be
charged to Federal
Revenue
Sharing Account
No. 3514.
SECTION
4. This
ordinance shall
be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form. in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in fuli force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
