AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO .EXECUTE AN
AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY. OF PADUCAH AND THE
AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES
AFL-CIO LOCAL 1586, COVERING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 1, - 198 0 THROUGH
MARCH 31, 1.982
WHEREAS, the Contract and former Amendment to Contract _between, the
City and the Union expired on March 31, 1980, and
- WHEREAS, the City and ,the Union have negotiated a. new Amendment
to Contract to cover. the _ period ,from .April 1_,_ 1980 through March 31, 1982, and
WHEREAS, a copy of the proposed . amendment is attached hereto -and
made a part hereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute an Amendment to Contract between the City and the Union covering the
period from April 1, 1980 through March 31, 1982 according to the terms and
conditions and in the form of the proposed Amendment to Contract attached
hereto.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in fill force and effect and
retroactive to April 1, 1980.
