At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held in the Commission Chambers at
City Hall, at 2:00 p.m., December 1, 1999, Mayor Jones presided, and upon can of the
roll by the City Manager, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Paxton,
Wrye and Mayor Jones (3). Commissioners Coleman and Smith were absent (2).
R & F NOTICES
Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Wrye, that the executed
Notices of Called Meeting for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 1999, be received and
filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Paxton, Wrye and
Mayor Jones (4).
ORDINANCE INTRODUCTION
ACCEPT GIFT OF REAL ESTATE FROM J. LANE PECK (2560 Cairo Road)
Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Wrye, that the Board of
Commissioners introduce an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE
GIFT OF REAL ESTATE KNOWN AS 2560 CAIRO ROAD, FROM RENTAL
HOUSING, INC. AND J. LANE PECK, AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
SAID REAL ESTATE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH". This ordinance is summarized
as follows: Accepting the gift of real estate known as 2560 Cairo Road from Rental
Housing, Inc. and J. Lane Peck, and authorizing the transfer of said real estate to the City
of Paducah.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
