HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-3-1883562 ORDINANCE NO. 80-3-1883 1 Ir AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN OLIVE STREET AND COLE STREET AND BETWEEN THE ILLINOIS CENTRAL GULF RAILROAD AND AN ALLEY, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE - 1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on March 17, 1980, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED BETWEEN OLIVE STREET AND COLE STREET AND BETWEEN THE ILLINOIS CENTRAL GULF RAILROAD AND AN ALLEY", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be., -and. the same are hereby, declared to be in agree- ment with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the, zone_ classification of the. following property be, and it is hereby, changed from M-1, Light Industrial Zone to M-3, High Density Industrial Zone: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Olive Street and the southerly right of way line of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad tracks; thence in a southerly direction and with the centerline of Olive Street 272.7 feet to the intersection of the centerline of Olive Street and the centerline of a 15 foot alley; thence in a westerly direction and with the centerline of said 15 foot alley, 799.3 feet to the centerline of Cole (Pine) Street; thence in a northerly di- rection and with the centerline of Cole (Pine) Street, 272.7 feet to the southerly right of way line of the Illinois Central Gulf Rail- road; thence in an easterly direction and with the southerly line of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad right of way, 799.3 feet to the point of beginning. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
