A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE ILLINOIS CENTRAL GULF RAILROAD (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS
RAILROAD) FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A DRAINAGE DITCH IN THE
LITTLEVILLE AREA
WHEREAS , dtze to flooding conditions in the Littleville Area it is necessary
that a drainage ditch be constructed, and
WHEREAS, in order to constrta.ct said drainage ditch it will be necessary
for the City to enter onto property owned by the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad
Company, in the vicinity of their North Yard near Quarles Aventa.e in Paducah, Kentucky.
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter
into an Agreement, as attached hereto and made a part hereof as if set otzt in full
herein, with the Illinois Central Gtxlf Railroad Company, for permission to enter onto
property owned by the Railroad Corripany to construct a drainage ditch in the
Littleville Area .
SECTION 2. This resolta.tion shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption .
