AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED
"AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE OPERATION OF A
MUNICIPAL COLLEGE IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY", WHICH WAS ADOPTED
BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON NOVEMBER 6, 1939, AND LAST AMENDED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 78-11-1645 ADOPTED ON NOVEMBER 14, 1978
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title quoted
above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on November 6, 1939,
and last amended on November 14, 1978, be further amended and reordained so
that said section shall hereafter read as follows:
"SECTION 1.
That Clay D. Zerby be appointed a member of the Board
of Trustees of the Paducah Junior College to fill the vacancy created by the
resignation of Royce Gregory, so that said Board of Trustees (appointed by the City)
as now constituted shall be composed of Marshall E. Nemer, Dr. Leon Higdon,
Howard Z. Gray, William A. Feiler, Beasley Vaughn, Jack Rottgering, E. W. White-
side, Dr. Walter R. Johnson, Mrs. Robert Hassman, J. William Howerton, Joseph
H. Framptom, and Clay D. Zerby.
Said
Board of
Trustees shall control
the municipal college in
the City of
Paducah which
has been
established pursuant
to the provisions of KRS
165.160 to
165.200, and are to have all the powers given to them pursuant to the provisions
of said statutes".
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
