ORDINANCE NO. 80-3-1875
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 79-9-1790,
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO HAVE INSTALLED
THE ESSX-1 SYSTEM OF THE SOUTH CENTRAL BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY, AND
APPROVING INSTALLATION COST OF APPROXIMATELY $4,063.0011
WHEREAS, at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners on September 18,
1979, Ordinance No. 79-9-1790 approving installation of the Essx-1 telephone system
for an installation charge of $4,063.00, was approved by the Board of Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, when said Essx-1 telephone system was installed the charge
was $6,139.20.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 'IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 79-9-1790, be amended
and reordained to read as follows:
"SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to pay South Central Bell Telephone Company the sum of $6,139.20
for installation of the Essx-1 Telephone System".
SECTION 2. That all other sections of Ordinance No. 79-9-1790 be,
and they are hereby, reaffirmed and reordained .
SECTION 3. That General Fund Account No. 1706 shall be charged with
the aforesaid expenditure.
SECTION 4. . That pursuant to KRS 84.100 (3) the requirement for read-
ing of this ordinance at two separate meetings be suspended, provided that this
ordinances passes by a -vote of two-thirds of the, members. of the Board of Com-
missioners of .the City. of. Paducah. -
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
