AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD AND HONDA
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE (3) 1980 FOUR -DOOR LTD S AUTOMOBILES TO
BE USED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, FOR A NET SUM OF $19,548.00, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1_ That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford
and Honda for sale to the City of three (3) 1980 four-foor LTD S automobiles for
use by the Police Department, for the sum of $19,548.00; said bid being in sub-
stantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on January 22, 1980,
and as contained in the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda, dated February 6, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Allan Rhodes Ford and Honda for the automobiles authorized
in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said automobiles shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 2114.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
