AN -ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 78-10-1626, ENTITLED, "AN
ORDINANCE. ACCEPTING THE OFFER .OF DAVID.- _SHOCKLEY AND WIFE, BEVERLY
SHOCKLEY, 1446 YARBRO LANE, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE . CITY IN
LOT 21 BLOCK 2, FRONTING ON THE WEST SI,DE OF .BETHEL STREET, FOR THE
SUM OF $340..:.00 AND,.. AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A QUITCLAIM DEED"
WHEREAS,
the Board
of. Commissioners of the City.
of Paducah, Kentucky,
passed an ordinance
on October
10, 19.7.8 conveying to David
Shockley and .wife,
Beverly Shockley, the _interest of -the City in property located on the _west side
of Bethel Street, and
WHEREAS, several attempts to collect said sum of $340.00 for the City's
interest in said property were unsuccessful,
NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT .ORDAINED BY THE. BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
- SECTION -1. That Ordinance No. 78-10-1626 be, and ,it is hereby, re-
pealed in its entirety. -
SECTION 2.. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
