HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-2-1863517 ORDINANCE NO. 80-2-1863 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 80-1-1838, AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT' TO POLLOCK SALT COMPANY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST' WHEREAS, at a meeting of the Board -of Commissioners on January 8, 1980, Ordinance No.' 80-1-1838, paying to Pollock Salt Company the sum of $40.97 per ton for tip to Six hundred (600) tons of salt, and WHEREAS-, when said salt was delivered to the Street Department of the City of Paducah, there was seven hundred (700) tons. NOW, THERFORE, BE IT' ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION, 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No.- 80-1-1838 be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows: "Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, authorize payment to Pollock Salt Company, for the purchase of tip to Seven Hundred (700) tons of salt, at a price of $40.97 per'ton, f.o.b. Street Department of the City of Paducah, Kentucky". SECTION 2.` That all other sections of Ordinance No. 80-1-1838 be, and they are hereby, reaffirmed and reordained. SECTION 3.
