ORDINANCE NO. 80-2-1859
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF SHELBY PAINTING COMPANY FOR
PAINTING THE INTERIOR OF FIRE STATION NO. I, FOR THE SUM OF $6,350.00,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PAINTING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Shelby Painting
Company for painting the interior of Fire Station No. I, located at 3rd and Wash-
ington Streets, for the sum of $6,350.00; said bid being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
resolution passed by the Board"of Commissioners on December 26, 1979, and as
contained in the bid of Shelby Painting Company, dated January 14, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Shelby Painting Company for the painting authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said painting - shall be charged to
General Fund Account No. 1726.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain= on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put
upon its final passage, and if adopted shall 'be in full force and effect ten (10)
days thereafter.
