ORDINANCE NO. 80-2-1858
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BROOKS CONTAINER SERVICE,
INC . , FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF REFUSE CONTAINERS FOR THE YEAR 1980, FOR THE
SUM OF $224.00 PER TWO YARD. LOADER; $374.00 _ PER, FOUR . YARD LOADER; $433.00
PER SIX YARD LOADER AND $497.00 PER EIGHT YARD LOADER, AND,,AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT . FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid .of Brooks, Container
Service, Inc . , for sale to the City of refuse containers for the . year 1980, for the
sum of $224.00 per_ two -yard loader; $374.00. per four -yard loader; $433.00 per six-
yard loader and . $497.00 per eight -yard loader; said bid being in substantial com-
pliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on December 26, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and_ he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Brooks Container Service, Inc . , for sale to the City of the
containers authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said containers shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for .public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
