AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING
THE
BID OF
ALLAN RHODES
FORD & HONDA FOR
SALE TO THE CITY OF A 1979 F-250 3/4
TON
TRUCK
TO BE USED BY
THE
STREET DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF $7,100.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER 'TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford
& Honda for sale to the City of a 1979 F-250 3/4 ton truck to be used by the
Street Department, for the sum of $7,100.00; said bid being in substantial com-
pliance with the bid
specifications
and advertisement
for bids
as
was
authorized by
resolution passed by
the Board of
Commissioners on
January
8,
1980,
and as con-
tained in the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford & Honda, dated January 18, 1980.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Allan Rhodes Ford & Honda for the truck authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said truck shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No.- 3414.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for
public inspection in the
completed
form in which it
shall be
put
upon its final
passage, and if adopted
shall be
in full force and
effect ten
(10)
days thereafter.
