HomeMy WebLinkAbout80-1-1850496 ORDINANCE NO. 80-1-1850 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT' OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON VIRGIE AVENUE IN LITTLEVILLE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE - 1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on January 7, 1980, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PRO- PERTY LOCATED ON VIRGIE AVENUE IN LITTLEVILLE" , be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agree- ment with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4, High Density Residential Zone to M-2, Heavy Industrial Zone: Beginning at the intersection of the westerly right of way line of the L & N and St.. L. Railroad and -the- center. line - of ; Vir_gie Avenue; thence in a westerly direction and with the center line of Virgie--Avenue 422 feet _ to a, .point; -thence in a northerly di-_ rection and with the line separating the lands of David Carter from the lands of Bobby Gordon 215.5 feet; thence in a westerly direction and with the line separating Carter from Gordon 145 feet to the center line of Blow Avenue; thence in a northerly direction and with the center line of Blow Avenue 420 feet; thence in an easterly direction and with the line separating Bobby Gordon,<,from Emily Lassiter, Alfred Kincade, and Lee Livingston 453 feet to a point in the westerly right of way line of the L & N and St. L. Railroad; thence in a southerly direction and with the right of way line of the L & N and St. L. Railroad 706 feet to the- point of beginning. SECTION 4. That .if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for•,.any cause,- the-,: deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions. SECTION 5.
