ORDINANCE NO. 80-1-1849
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT, INC. FOR
SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE 20 -YARD PACKERS AND ONE 17 -YARD PACKER, FOR
A SUM OF $43,425.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CON-
TRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Municipal Equip-
ment, Inc . , for sale to the City of three 20 -yard packers and one 17 -yard packer,
for the sum of $43, 425.00; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed
by the Board of Commissioners on November 27, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with Municipal Equipment, Inc. for sale to the City of the
Packers authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal
and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said Packers shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in -which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if _adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter. -
