AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MUNICIPAL EQUIPMENT, INC. FOR
SALE'- TO THE CITY OF 'A 31 CUBIC YARD LEACH 72=F FRONT END LOADER, FOR USE BY
THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF $21,-675'.00, AND AUTHORIZING' THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A =CONTRACT FOR. SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE - BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE - CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Municipal Equipment,
Inca; for sale to- the City of a 31-ci bic yard Leach 2-F Front End Loader, 4. for the sum
of $21,675.00,•, said bid being in substantial:"compliance with the -bid specifications and
advertisement for "bids as was authorized by -resolution passed by the -Board of Commissioners
on November 27, 1979, and `as contained in the bid of Municipal Equipment, Inc:, dated
December 28, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the City. Manager be, and he is hereby, :authorized to
execute- a contract with Municipal Equipment, Inc for sale to -the City of the front end
loader authorized in Section 1 above, according ..to the specifications, bid proposal and
all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in. the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said front end loader shall...be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3514.
:SECTION -4._ This ordinance shall be introduced and remain. -on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which.. it shall be ` put upon its
final passage' and if adopted shall be in.'full force'`and effect ten --(10) days thereafter.
