AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING THE MAYOR'S
EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING
THERETO WITH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HIGHWAY SAFETY, A DIVISION OF
THE KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET, FOR FUNDING FOR THE ROADSIDE
DRUG TESTING PILOT PROGRAM THROUGH THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby ratifies and approves the Mayor's
execution of a Grant Agreement and all documents relating thereto with the Kentucky Office of
Highway Safety, a division of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, for funding in the amount of
$25,000 for the Roadside Drug Testing Pilot Program handled through the Paducah Police
Department. This grant does not require any local cash or in-kind match.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to PO0087 Account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
