A RESOLUTION SELECTING AND DESIGNATING ALLEN AND KLEET AND
ASSOCIATES, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO AUDIT
THE RECORDS OF THE ELECTRIC PLANT BOARD OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY; FROM JULY 1; 1979 TO JUNE 30, 1980
WHEREAS, KRS .96.840 provides that an audit of the records of the
Electric Plant. Board shall be made annually by an auditor selected by the Legis-
lative Body of the City, and that the expense of said audit shall constitute an
,-
operating expense of the Electric Plant Board, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution adopted by thee Electric Plant Board on the 24th
day of October, 1979, said Board recommended to the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah that Allen and Kleet and Associates, Certified Public Accountants, be
appointed to make an audit of the Electric Plant Board's records from Jtzly 1, 1979
to Jtzne 30, 1980.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Allen and Kleet and Associates, Certified Public Accountants
of Paducah, ` Kerittxcky, are hereby selected and designated to audit the records of
the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah as provided by KRS 96.840 and
that the expense of such audit shall constitute an operating expense of said Board .
SECTION 2. The compensation for such audit shall be based upon the
standard fees of Certified Public Accounts, however, the total cost of same: sliall ..
not exceed the stzm of $5, 900.00 .
SECTION 3. That the Clerk of this Board forward a certified., copy of this
resol-tztion to th`e Stzperinterident of the Paducah- Power System. and to the Chairman
of the Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah .
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption .
