A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACTION OF THE CITY MANAGER IN ALLOW-
ING A GRADUATE STUDENT INTERN IN PUBLIC ADMTNI~TRATION~ AT HURRAY STATE
UNIVERSITY TO FULFILL HIS INTERN REQUIREMENTS WITI3 THE -.CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah has: various tasks in the- administrative
offices which could tzse attention., and
WHEREAS; Darryl Buford is a graduate student at Murray State University,
majoring in public administration, and
WHEREAS , Murray State University has an intern program whereby its
graduate students in public administration are required to work five (5)= 'months in
public government, and
WHEREAS , Darryl Buford is desirous of fulfilling his internship requirements
with the City of Paducah,
NOW,. THEREFORE,. BE .IT "RESOLVED. ~BY: THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF -THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That. the City Manager be authorized to allow Darryl Bizford to
fulfill. his intern. requirements-;. as a graduate student in_ptzblic administration at
Murray State University, with the City of Paducah.
SECTTON~ 2. It is further resolved that. Darryl.~Btzford be allowed $200.00
per month to defray expenses incurred by him in carryi.ag otzt this internship program .
SECTION 3. Be it further resolved by the Board of Commissioners that the
$200.00 per month expense allowance be limited to five (5) months duration.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its adoption .
