AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH PADUCAH FORD INC., FOR THE PURCHASE AND
DELIVERY OF ONE 2010 POLICE INTERCEPTOR PURSUIT VEHICLE
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2010-1-7651 to enter into a
contract with Paducah Ford, Inc., in the amount of $109,287.00 for purchase of five (5) 2010
police interceptor pursuit vehicles; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required due to a police interceptor
pursuit vehicle being involved in an accident and being noted as "totaled" by the insurance
company. Therefore, the purchase of another pursuit vehicle is required in the amount of
$20,970.00, increasing the total contract price to $130,257.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1
with Paducah Ford Inc., in the amount of $20,970.00, for the purchase of one (1) 2010 police
interceptor pursuit vehicle, increasing the total contract price to $130,257.00.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Rolling
Stock/Vehicles-Fleet Lease Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
