AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE
ORDER NO. 1 WITH ARIZON STRUCTURES FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN AIR DOME
STRUCTURE PLUS INITIAL BREAKDOWN AND STORAGE FOR THE PAVILION
PROJECT PHASE I
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2009-12-7645 in the amount of
$807,929.00, for the purchase and assembly of an air dome structure, plus $6,300 for the initial
breakdown and storage, for the primary use of the AQS Quilt Show and Contest Event; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required to revise the building configuration
for egress and exiting requirements and to revise the electrical system for emergency and backup
functions, for an increase in the amount of $20,097.00, increasing the total contract price to
$828,026.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 for
an increase in the amount of $20,097.00 with Arizon Structures, for the Pavilion Project Phase I,
to revise the building configuration for egress and exiting requirements and to revise the
electrical system for emergency and backup functions, increasing the total contract price to
$828,026.00.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
