AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND ACCEPTING A DEED OF
CONVEYANCE FROM PADUCAH RENAISSANCE ALLIANCE TO THE CITY OF
PADUCAH FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 600 NORTH 4TH STREET AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE DEED OF CONVEYANCE AND ALL
DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SAME FOR THE PAVILION PROJECT
WHEREAS, Life Care Centers of America, Inc. gifted the property located at 600
North 4th Street to Paducah Main Street, Inc., d/b/a Paducah Renaissance Alliance; and
WHEREAS, Paducah Renaissance Alliance held a meeting on March 5, 2010 and
voted to transfer the property at 600 North 4th Street to the City of Paducah, which will be used
for the Pavilion Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah now desires to accept the property and authorize
the Mayor to execute the Deed and all documents relating to same.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby approves and accepts a Deed of
Conveyance from Paducah Renaissance Alliance for property located at 600 North 4th Street and
authorizes the Mayor to execute the Deed of Conveyance and all documents relating to same for
the Pavilion Project.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
