AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE
ORDER NO. 1 WITH ATLAS ROOFING CONTRACTORS, INC., FOR ROOF REPAIRS TO
117 AND 129 SOUTH WATER STREET
— WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2009-10-7614 to enter into a
contract with Atlas Roofing Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $39,500.00 for Roof Repairs to
117 and 129 South Water Street; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of
$4,900.00 to repair decking and cracks in the party wall between the River Discovery Center and
Seaman's Church Institute, increasing the total contract price to $44,400.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 for
an increase in the amount of $4,900.00 with Atlas Roofing Contractors, Inc., to repair decking
and cracks in the party wall between the River Discovery Center and Seaman's Church Institute,
increasing the total cost to $44,400.00.
SECTION 2. This shall be charged to the River Heritage Roof account (PF0065).
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
