HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-3-7657ORDINANCE NO. 2010-3-7657 COMPANY FOR COMPOST GRINDING OF TREE DEBRIS AND YARD WASTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Central Paving Company for compost grinding of tree debris and yard waste in the amount of $524.00 per hour for the remaining portion of the 2010 calendar year and with three optional one- year term renewals. Said contract is in substantial compliance with bid specifications, advertisement for bids, and bid of Central Paving Company dated February 11, 2010. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract between the City of Paducah and Central Paving Company for compost grinding of tree debris and yard waste as set out in Section 1 above. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the Miscellaneous Contractual/Rental Equipment - Solid Waste Fund account. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: jamvm� dAa17-vck Tammara S.
