AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING- THE BID OF -:DIAMOND CRYSTAL SALT
COMPANY .-FOR SALEJO THEo CITY OF- APPROXIMATELY 450- TONS OF SALT,
FOR THE SUM- OF $1.8_.84 PER, TON, F -.O .B .. PADUCAH,, KENTUCKY AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY .MANAGER TO- EXECUTE; A-,, CONTRACT FOR SUCH
PURCHASE .
BE I.T. ORDAINED BY THE, BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY -
OF PADUCAH , -. KENTUCKY: -
SECTION, 1_ That the, City; of. Paducah accept the bid of .,Diamond Crystal
Salt Company for sale to the City of approximately. 450• tons --of salt, for.;the
sum of $18...84 ,per;, ton, f-.o.b..: Paducah,- Kentucky, said bid .being in substantial
compliance.. with: the., bid specifications.. and:. advertisement_ for..bids as .was
authorized by resolution passed by the Board of C-ommissioners- on. August 22 , . .

SECTION 2. That the City Manager be-;- and -he is hereby.,: authorized
to execute a .contract.. with Diamond, Crystal , Salt- Company, for, sale to the City -of
the salt authorized in Section 1 above, according to -the :specifications., bid pro-
posal and . all contract documents heretofore approved and. incorporated- in. the. bid,. -
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said salt shall be charged to. --
