AN ORDINANCE. ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF MRS. LAURA B. TORIAN, A
WIDOW, 2338 SOUTH 25TH STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY
IN LOT 3, BLOCK 12, O'BRYAN'S ADDITION, LOCATED ON SPRUCE STREET', FOR
THE SUM OF $500.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO"
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1 That the offer of Mrs. Laura B. Torian, in the -amount of
$500.00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in
said City be accepted, said land being described as -follows:
Lot 3, Block -12, ' O'Bryan's Addition , as ' shown on
Page 58 of Block'Map Book '4 in the office of the
City Engineer . -
Being the same land (A. W. - Milliken Heirs) con-,
veyed to the City of Paducah on July 6, 1970 by
Benjamin -C`: LeRoy; Treasurer, by deed of record
in Deed 'Boek 519_1*,-Page638, in the McCracken-
County
cCrackenCountyCourt-C1erk''s-office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $500:'00 _(plus $6.00 for
recording fee to be paid- by the City) to the City Treasurer, the- Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed `to convey - to Mrs : Laura B. Torian , all of
the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 here-
of and "that _said.ideed- of conveyance shall. be quitclaim only, shall contain no
warranty as, to' title and shall be subject to any state of facts as might be shown
by an accurate survey . s
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from --and
after its adoption':
