AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB -SECTION (a) OF SECTION 2-54 "AUTOMATIC
AND, PROGRESSIVE INCREASE FOR APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES" OF THE CODE OF

ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That sub -section (a) of Section 2-54 Automatic and Progressive
Increase for Appointive Employees" of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be amended and reordained so that said sub -section shall here-
after read as follows:
"Sec. 2-54. Automatic and Progressive Increase for Appointive Employees.
(a) From and after November 7, 1977, all appointive employees of the city,
with the exception of the city manager, members of the police department and members
of the fire department shall have the following automatic and progressive increase
in salary:
One dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per month for each complete

(20) years".
SECTION 2. This ordinance amends sub -section (a) of Section 2-54
which was last amended by Ordinance No. 77-11-1493, adopted by the Board of
Commissioners November 8, 1977.
SECTION 3. This ordinanace shall be in full force and effect and
retroactive to July 3, 1978.
