ORDINANCE NO. 78-7-1591
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE LIABILITY
INSURANCE FOR 1978 - 79 WITH BRADSHAW & WEIL, INC.
WHEREAS, the City's present policy with Aetna Life and Casualty Insurance,
as written by Bradshaw & Weil, Inc., expired on April 13, 1978 and was renewed on
April 14, 1978, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, desire to

ratify the aforesaid renewal by ordinance
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the action of the City Manager be, and it is hereby,
authorized and ratified for the purchase of liability insurance for the City's fleet
of vehicles from Bradshaw & Weil, Inc., covering the period of April 14, 1978 to
April 14, 1979 for a premium of $35,923.00.
SECTION 2. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
