SECTIOi :7 . :=.That =the:City: of :Paducah.- accept.-the--bid-of Jimar Paving
Company; fora sale -:to :the -City of it's -.requirement of °Bituminous Concrete (Class.- I,
Type A) for the year 1978 (approximately 5,000 tons) for the- sum`. of $13.00 per
ton to be picked up at the --plant by 'the city; and- to be used in street resurfacing,
said -;bid being in substantial compliance with'the--bid specifications and advertise-
ment for. bids_: ,as was authorized' -by resolution' adopted by the Board of -Commissioners
on May 9, 1978;x and 'as: contained-. in- the bid. of: Jimar :Paving :Company, 'dated ..

SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Jimar Paving Company for sale to the City of the material
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said material shall be charged to
either General Fund or Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3454.
SECTION 4.: ; An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for one week -in -the
the
completed form in, ,which it shall be put upcii its final passage, and if adopted' shall
be in full force and. effect immediately thereafter.
