ORDINANCE NO. 78-6-1571
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MANNING EQUIPMENT, INC. FOR
SALE TO THE CITY OF THREE WESTERN MODEL PH10FMS HEAVY DUTY SNOW PLOWS,
FOR THE SUM OF $3,858.00; TO BE USED BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT, AND
AUTHORIZINGTHECITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A - CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City accept the bid of Manning Equipment, Inc. for
sale to the City of three (3) Western Model PH10FMS Heavy Duty- Snow Plows, for
the sum of $3,858.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid speci-
fications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution passed by the
Board of Commissioners on April 17, 19 78 , and as contained in the bid of Manning
Equipment, Inc. , dated May 2, 1978.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Manning Equipment, Inc., for sale to the City of the equipment
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said equipment shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 3414.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on- file for one
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its
final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) --days there-
after.
