At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held in the Commission Chambers at
City Hall at 4:00 p.m., June 7, 1999, Mayor Jones presided, and upon call of the roll by
the City Clerk, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Coleman, Paxton,
Smith and Mayor Jones (4). Commissioner Wrye was absent (1).
R & F NOTICES
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the
executed Notices of Called Meeting for 4:00 p.m., Monday, June 7, 1999, be received and
filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Paxton, Smith and
Mayor Jones (4).
MayarJones announced that no legislative action will be taken at the meeting today and
that this meeting was called as an emergency meeting because of the probability that no
meetings can be held next week due to the lack of a quorum, and a meeting was needed
due to the time constraints for finalizing the budget.
