AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE : FINAL REPORT OF,- THE - PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION; RESPECTING THE REZONING -OF, -;PROPERTY LOCA.TED,� ON THE. NORTHWEST
CORNER OF BLOOM AVENUE.. AND- P-AXTON.,STREET,- AND, AMENDING- -THE-:PADUCAH.
ZONING- ORDINANCE -,_19.7,6.. SO AS .,TO --EFFECT SUCH. REZONING,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF, THE CITY --.OF -
PADUCAH,, : KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.. That „a resolution adopted by the Paducah- Planning, Commission

as the final .report .of said _Commission- respecting .the matters therein- -set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification-, change. and the:.mag amendment
proposed .in
said resolution be,. and. the
same
are . hereby,.. declared -to -.be -:in agree-
ment with
the comprehensive plan of the
City
of Paducah.,
SECTION 3. That the zone, classification of the -following property be., . and
it is hereby, changed from R-4, High Density Residential Zone to M-2, Heavy --
Industrial Zone:
Beginning at the point - of intersection of the center line
of Bloom Avenue and Paxton Street; thence in a westerly
direction and with the center line of Paxton Street 185 feet;
thence at right angles and in a northerly direction with
the center line, of a 20 feet -alley 1.94;67, feet to, the-,.
existing line separating the R-4 zone from the M-2 zone;
thence in .an.east -southeasterly direction andwith,.said - --
line 190.Z8 feet to the center line of Bloom Avenue;
thence with the center line of Bloom, Avenue -and in a.,
-
southerly direction 149.56 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section,
paragraph or 'provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to
make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
