ORDINANCE. NO. 78 -5 -1559 -
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF G & H PAVEMENT SEALING
COMPANY, IN THE AMOUNT OF SEVEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS AND
35/100 ($7,605.35) FOR RESURFACING TENNIS COURTS IN NOBLE PARK AND AUTHORI-
ZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH RESURFACING
BE IT ORDAINED ,BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal of G & H Pavement
Sealing Company, in the amount of Seven Thousand Six Hundred Five Dollars and
35/100 ($7,605.35) for resurfacing tennis courts in Noble Park, said proposal being
in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was
authorized by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on April 17, 1978.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with G & H Pavement Sealing Company for the resurfacing of tennis
courts in Noble Park authorized in Section 1 above according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the
bid.
SECTION 3. The resurfacing of said tennis courts shall be charged to
Gomm n fids.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
