JUNE 3, 1999
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners, held in the Commission Chambers at
City Hall at 4:00 p.m., June 3, 1999, Mayor Jones presided, and upon call of the roll by
the City Clerk, the following answered to their names: Commissioners Coleman, Paxton
and Mayor Jones (3). Commissioner Smith arrived late (1) and Commissioner Wrye was
absent (1).
R & F NOTICES
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Paxton, that the
executed Notices of Called Meeting for 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 3, 1999, be received
and filed. Adopted on call of the roll , yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Paxton, and Mayor
Jones (3).
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Paxton offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that the
Board go into closed session for discussion of matters pertaining to the following topics:
1. Collective bargaining with public employees, as permitted by IRS Chapter
61.810(1)(e).
Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Paxton, Smith and Mayor
Jones (4).
At the conclusion of the executive session the Board reconvened in open session,
whereupon the Mayor announced there was no further business.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
