A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REAPPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE
PADUCAH McCRACKEN COUNTY CONVENTION CENTER CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in conjunction with McCracken
County, Kentucky, desires to cooperate in the planning, promotion, development,
financing financing and acquisition of a public project to serve as a convention and trade show
center with related facilities; and
WHEREAS, a nonprofit, no -stock corporation for the performance of public,
civic and governmental purposes is essential and beneficial in carrying out such a
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under
the laws of the state of Kentucky, be recognized as an agency and instrumentality of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the purposes of establishing a nonprofit, no -stock cor-
poration for the performance of public, civic and governmental purposes.
SECTION 2. That the Articles of Incorporation of said corporation be, and they
are hereby, filed with the Secretary of State of Kentucky.
SECTION 3. That the following individuals be recognized and appointed as
the initial Board of Directors representing the agency or organization and for the
term in years affixed beside their name, said terms having commenced April 20, 1977:
