AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MOTOROLA COMMUNICATIONS
COMPANY, IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,494.25, FOR"'SALE"TO.:THE- CITY OF -NINE
WALKIE TALKIES. AND, ONE BATTERY CHARGER, FOR USE BY THE-PADUCAH POLICE -
DEPARTMENT, AND- AUTHORIZING 'THE CITY MANAGER TO. -EXECUTE- A CONTRACT
FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT` ORDAINED BY THE BOARD ::OF --COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
DUC H; -,KENTUCKY,:
SECTION: 1:: - That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Motorola Communi-
cations :Company;,

H33BBU3143-N;, 5, watt-,- -Universal Model MT -=500 Walkie Talkies -and one (1) NLN -4570,.
Rapid Rate, . 12 Unit, Battery Charger,. said bid being in substantial compliance -with
the bid specifications and- advertisement- -for- bids as was authorized by resolution
passed by ahe Board of Commissioners on February 28,: 1978,` -and as -contained in the
bid of Motorola Communications Company, dated March 13, 1978.
SECTION 2. -'That.-the City Manager be; and he is hereby, authorized
to execute � a contract with Motorola Communications Company for sale to the City of
the equipment authorized in Section 1 above,- according= to the- specifications, bide
proposal and all contract documents- heretofore, approved and incorporated- in the bid.
SECTION & - The ;purchase price -.-for said -equipment -shall be charged to
Federal Revenue Sharing Account No. 2114.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be .introduced.;and remain on file for -
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
