HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-1-7651ORDINANCE NO. 2010-1-7651 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PADUCAH FORD IN THE AMOUNT OF $109,287.00 FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF FIVE POLICE INTERCEPTOR r PURSUIT VEHICLES FOR USE BY THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Paducah Ford in the total amount of $65,991.00, for three (3) 2010 Police Interceptor Pursuit Vehicles (Crown Victoria) for use by the Paducah Police Department, said bids being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bids of Paducah Ford, on December 15, 2009. SECTION 2. The City of Paducah accepts the alternate bid of Paducah Ford in the total amount of $43,296.00, for two (2) 2010 Police Interceptor Pursuit Vehicles (Crown Victoria) for use by the Paducah Police Department due to immediate delivery of the vehicles. SECTION 3. Sections 1 and 2 are hereby approved and the total amount to be paid to Paducah Ford is not to exceed $109,287.00. SECTION 4. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Paducah Ford for the purchase of the Police Interceptor Pursuit Vehicles, authorized in Section 1 and Section 2 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 5. This purchase shall be charged to the Rolling Stock/Vehicles-Fleet Lease Trust Fund Account. SECTION 6. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: Tammara S.
