Commissioner Paxton was absent (1). R & F NOTICES Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Smith, that the executed Notices of Called Meeting for 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 1999, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Smith, Wrye, and Mayor Jones (4). ORDINANCES - EMERGENCY PURCHASE 425-431 BROADWAY Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Smith, that the Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY A DEED AND OTHER NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO FACILITATE THE PURCHASE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 425-431 BROADWAY FROM JUNE R. KEILER, TRUSTEE UNDER AGREEMENTS DATED AUGUST 25, 1959, FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF JOHN WILLIAM KEILER III, JAMES STEPHEN KEILER AND WIFE, RHONDA KAY KEILER, BYRON PRINZMETAL, SUCCESSOR CO -TRUSTEE AND AS AGENT FOR THE SUCCESSOR CO - TRUSTEES OF THE BLANCHE K. EARL REVOCABLE TRUST DATED NOVEMBER 7, 1983, AND AKM 4-24-43 PARTNERSHIP". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing the Mayor to execute on behalf of the City a deed and other necessary documents to facilitate the purchase of property at 425-431 Broadway from June R. ORD.NO. 99-4-6014, BOOK 28, P.� PURCHASE 122 NORTH 5TH STREET Commissioner Smith offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Wrye, that the Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY A DEED AND OTHER NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO FACILITATE THE PURCHASE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 122 N. 5TH STREET FROM COLUMBIA AMUSEMENT COMPANY". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing the Mayor to execute on behalf of the City a deed and other necessary documents to facilitate the purchase of property located at 122 N. 5th Street from Columbia Amusement Company. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Smith, Wrye and Mayor Jones (4). ORD.NO. 99-4-6015, BOOK 28, P. f71 PURCHASE 129 NORTH 4TH STREET Commissioner Wrye offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Smith, that the Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY A DEED AND OTHER NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO FACILITATE THE PURCHASE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 129 N. 4TH STREET FROM FALCONITE-HIPP, LLC." This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing the Mayor to execute on behalf of the City a deed and other necessary documents to facilitate the purchase of property at 129 N. 4th Street from Falconite-Hipp, LLC. Adopted on call 37 of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Smith, Wrye and Mayor Jones (4). ORD.NO. 99-4-6016, BOOK 28, P. 73 AWARD PROPERTY TO DUKE & LONG DISTRIBUTING CO. INC. Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Smith, that the Board of Commissioners introduce and adopt an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING AUTHORITY TO THE MAYOR TO AWARD THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 425-431 BROADWAY, 122 N. 5TH STREET AND 129 N. 4TH STREET TO DUKE & LONG DISTRIBUTING COMPANY, INC. AND EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY A CONTRACT, OR CONTRACTS, OF SALE, DEED AND OTHER NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO FACILITATE THE SALE OF THE / PROPERTY LOCATED AT 425-431 BROADWAY, 122 N. 5TH STREET AND 129 N. •/ 4TH STREET TO DUKE & LONG DISTRIBUTING COMPANY, INC.". This ordinance is summarized as follows: Authorizing the Mayor to award the property located at 425-431 Broadway, 122 N. 5th Street and 129 N. 4th Street to Duke & Long Distributing Company, Inc. and to execute on behalf of the City contract(s), deed(s) and other necessary documents to facilitate the sale of said property to Duke & Long Distributing, Inc.
