AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND THE KENTUCKY STATE POLICE TO
ESTABLISH A KENTUCKY STATE POLICE DRUG TASK FORCE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby approves an agreement by and
among the Kentucky State Police and the City of Paducah to establish a Kentucky State
Police Drug Task Force.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
approved in Section 1 above. Said agreement shall be effective upon valid execution by
all parties. The duration of the agreement shall be until and including June 30, 2010;
however, unless the Kentucky State Police or the City terminates the Agreement, it shall
automatically be renewed every two years on its expiration date for the term of an
additional two years.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
