AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ATLAS ROOFING
CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR REPAIRS OF THE ROOF ON THE BUILDINGS LOCATED AT
117 AND 129 SOUTH WATER STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Atlas Roofing
Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $39,500.00 for miscellaneous roof, flashing, and masonry
repairs on the buildings located at 117 and 129 South Water Street, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of
Atlas Roofing Contractors, Inc., of September 18, 2009.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract with Atlas Roofing Contractors, Inc., for repairs of the roof on the buildings located at
117 and 129 South Water Street, as authorized in Section 1 above, pursuant to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Project # PF0065.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
