ORDINANCE NO. 78-4-1548
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF COAL BELT FIRE EQUIPMENT
COMPANY, IN THE AMOUNT OF $747.00, FOR SALE TO THE „CITY, OF SIX (6) AIR_
TANKS FOR USE BY THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT,. AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Coal._Belt Fire
Equipment Company, in the amount of $747.00 for sale to the City of six (6) air
tanks for use by the Paducah Fire Department, said bid being in substantial,
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized
by Resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners on February 28, 1978, , and
as contained in the bid of Coal Belt Fire Equipment ,Company, dated March 20., 1978.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, . and he is hereby,, authorized to
execute a contract with Coal Belt Fire Equipment Company for the. six air tanks
authorized in Section 1 above according_ to the specifications,. bid, proposal and_ all
contract documents heretofore approved_ and, incorporated in the . bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase of said air tanks shall ,be, charged to Federal
Revenue Sharing Account No. 2214.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on, file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and _ effect ten (10)_ days
thereafter.
