AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF .CFI LAWN AND .GARDEN EQUIP-
MENT FORSALETO THE .CITY OF TWO 60" YAZOO MOWERS FOR USE BY-THE.—
PARKS

PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT, FOR THE SUM OF $4,395. 00 , AND. AUTHORI-
ZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of CFI Lawn and
Garden Equipment for sale to the City. of Two (2.) .60" Yazoo riding mowers for use
by the Parks & . Recreation Department , .for the sum of , $4 , 395.00; said . bid being
in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as
was authorized by resolution passed by the Board -of Commissioners on November
14, 1978, and as contained in the bid . of CFI Lawn and Garden Equipment, dated
November 2.7, 1978.
.SECTION -.2. That the City. Manager. b_e,_and- he_is hereby, authorized
to execute a contract with CFI Lawn and Garden _Equipment for --sale to. the- City- of
two riding mowers authorized in Section 1 above, according. to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents _heretofore. approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase. price for said mowers shall be charged
to General Fund Account No .. 5114.
SECTION 4. This ordinance. shall- be introduced and remain on file
for one week for public inspection in the completed form . in- which it shall be
put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten
(10) days thereafter.
