CITY, IN LOT NO. 1, BLOCK NO. 1, O'BRYAN'S ADDITION, LOCATED ON THE CORNER OF SEITZ AND ALABAMA STREETS, FOR THE SUM OF $400.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK f TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,-.- SECTION ENTUCKY-_ SECTION .1- That the offer ..of_ Mrs. ,.Cora. Louise. Qronch,-,in ,the amount of $400.00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said City be accepted, said land being described as follows: Being a portion of Lot 1 in Block 1, O'Bryan's Addition, and beginning at a point in the south right-of-way line of Seitz Street 5 feet east of the east right-of-way line of Alabama Street; thence in an easterly direction with the south right-of- way line of Seitz Street 35 feet to a point; thence in a southerly direction 120 feet to a point in the north right-of-way line of a 10 foot alley; thence in a westerly direction with the north right-of-way line of said 10 foot alley a distance of 35 feet to a point; thence in a northerly direction 120 feet to the point of beginning; the City of Paducah retaining five (5) feet of Lot 1 for right-of-way purposes. See Block Map Book 4, Page 53 in the office of the City Engineer. Being the same land (A. W. Milliken Heirs) con- veyed to the City of Paducah on July 6, 1970 by Benjamin C. LeRoy, Treasurer, by deed of record in Deed Book 519, Page 638, in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office. SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of $400.00 (plus $6.00 for recording fee to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to convey to Mrs. Cora Louise Cronch, all of the right, title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof and that said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject to any state of facts as might be shown by an accurate survey. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
