ORDINANCE NO. 78-12-1658
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27-17 RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAINTAINING
UNPAVED "PORTIONS OF RIGHTS"-OF=WAY FREE FROM REFUSE, OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE "BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS 'OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,'KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 27-17, Responsibility for maintaining unpaved
portions of rights-of-way free from refuse, be amended and reordained -so that said
section shall hereafter read as followst
"Sec. 27-17 It shall: be the responsibility for maintaining sidewalks and
unpaved portions -of rights-of-way free from refuse "and other waste.
The occupant of 'premises, or in the case of unoccupied premises, the
owner- shall be responsible for maintaining, -in a clean and sanitary condition, free
of refuse and other waste, -the: sidewalks and unpaved protions of rights-of-way
abutting such premises. =
-SECTION Z. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain ' on file for
one week for public inspection in -the completed form in -which, it shall be" put upon
its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) . days
thereafter.
