COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: - SECTION 1 , :-That- the City Manager be, -and he is -hereby, axthorized to advertise for- bids for. construction of a~ ,"Nature Trail Bridge-" in.' the City of 'Paducah, said invitation for bids to be as follows:- " - INVITATION TO BID ' RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS ~ - - -~ -- ,Thee City :of Paducah- will receive: bids at the- office `of the City Manager for construction of the "Nature Trail Bridge" in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, t~rtil at the City Commission Chambers, City of Paducah, Kentucky, at which time all bids shall be opened and read- aloud . _ PROJECT DESCRIPTION The .project consists of roadway subgrade: "preparation, _ gravel. _ installation, concrete footing construction, bridge erection, and rip=rap stabilization :. - "' - - OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS • .Proposed- .Forms , °Contraet Documents; ". including: ~ Plans and Speci- fications, are on file at the office of the City Engineer, City Hall, r Padtxeah, Kentucky. _ PROPOSAL GUARANTY - ~ - - . ~ - - - ~~ A -satisfactory • bid borid~ ~exect~ted by`-thee bidder .arid: acceptable sureties in an amount equal to 5 0 of the bid shall be submitted _ _. wit eac proposal . Tidwell, City Manager 421 SECTION 2. The City Manager shall advertise for sealed bids by a notice posted on the bulletin board at City Hall and by publication ptxrstxant to KRS Chapter 424. No bids shall be opened within, ten days ,from the date on which the resolution is adopted, and no bid shall be received after the hour fixed for the opening of bids . All bids received by the City Manager tip to the time for opening of same shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners who may let a contract to the best responsible bidder . The City shall have the right to refuse and reject any and all bids. SECTION 3.
