A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE HENNEBERGER INSURANCE BUILDING
WHEREAS , the Henneberger Insurance Building is presently vacated , and is
being offered for sale , and
WHEREAS , it would. be beneficial to extend the alley running between South
Fourth and Fifth Street parallel with Broadway and .Kentucky Avenue, and
WHEREAS , opening of this alley would be beneficial to the retail merchants,
and the various City departments providing services to that area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE.-.CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: - -
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to .enter into negotiations
for the purchase of the Henneberger. :,.Insurance Building. -
SECTION 2 . This resolution shall be in full force and .effect from -and
after the date of its adoption .
