HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-12-1829456 ORDINANCE NO. 79-12-1829 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF ALLEN AND KLEET AND ASSOCIATES, CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS, FOR AUDITING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH FROM JULY 1, 1979 TO JUNE 30, 1980, FOR THE SUM OF $9,400.00 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the proposal of Allen and Kleet and Associates, Certified Public Accountants, to perform the audits of all city accounts, including, but not limited to, the general fund, federal revenue sharing, the police and firemen's pension fund, the appointive employees' pension fund, sewer system funds, parking facility funds, and other incidental accounting services, for the sum of $9,400.00, covering the period from July 1, 1979 to June 30, 1980; said pro- posal being according to the terms and conditions set forth in the letter of Allen and Kleet and Associates, Certified Public Accountants, to Mr. Thurman Baker, Treasurer, dated November 27, 1979. SECTION 2. Payment for the audit expenses set forth in Section 1 above shall be made from the accounts in the general fund and federal revenue sharing funds as set forth in the appropriate apportionment ordinance or as may be hereafter provided in an appropriate reapportionment ordinance. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
