AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE'- MAYOR z TO ENTER INTO A 'CON-
TRACT WITH JACKSON -PURCHASE 'ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE-CORPOFRATION.- TO-
PROVIDE- -STREET A =PORTION OF -THE RECENTLY ANNEXED WEST
END AREA
:_ - iVHEREAS, the -policy- of, the Board of- Commissioners of the :City of
Paducah is to provide adequate street lighting for the citizens of the City of
Paducah---:- 'and
WHEREAS, a portion of the City of Paducah which consist of A section
of the recently annexed- West End Area, is supplied electricity by the Jackson
Purchase Electric Cooperative Corporation-, -and
WHEREAS the Jackson Purchase, Electric Cooperative Corporation has
agreed -,to - supply street lighting in the areas located within the 'City of Paducah
which are -,rserviced-� by said -Company; and
WHEREAS.; a Security Light Lease Agreement has- been, prepAred,,,, and -
said agreements will make: street- lights -available -to residents of; the -City: of- -Paducah!

NOW, -THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED X �Y�HE BOARD OF COM
OF. THE, CITY. -OF PADUCAH, - KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor be,- and he is, hereby, authorized
execute the Security Lease Agreement with Jackson Purchase Electric Cooperative
Corporation,,, which is-lattached, ;hereto --and incorporated -herein as if set oiit in
full.
5ECTION_2., This . ordinance,- shall be- introducedand, remain ,o P file
for one week for public inspection 'in the: -completed -form in w.hich,- it-! shall be
put upon its,jinal passage; - and- if adopted - shall be in -full force- and effect ten
(10) days thereafter.
