AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLAN RHODES FORD AND
HONDA FOR" SALE -TO THE CITY OF -ONE 1980 -FORD BRONCO -FOR USE BY'THE-FLOOD-
WALL DEPARTMENT', FOR THE SUM OF '$8;809:00 LESS $200-.00 'FOR 'TRADE-IN OF
A 1971 -CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK, MAKING 'A: NETOF $0,609.00, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE' A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSiONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH. KENTUCKY:
SECTION. 1... -That the, City of Paducah accept the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford
and Honda for saler to the City of one 1980 Ford Bronco for use by the Floodwall
Department, for the sum -of $8,809; 00, less $200.00 for, -trade-in of one 1971 Chevrolet
Pickup Truck, making a net sum of `$8,.609.00;- said bid being in substantial com-
pliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
resolution- passed- by thee- Board of ;Commissioners on August 28, 1979,, and as con-
tained in the bid of Allan Rhodes Ford-. and- Honda, dated October 1, 1979-.
SECTION 2. That ._the -City Manager be_, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with: Allan - Rhodes- Ford and Honda f6rl sale to the City of the
1980 Ford Bronco authorized in -Section 1 above according to the specifications, bid
proposal -and :all, contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price -for, said Bronco shall be charged to
General Fund Account No. 3214. -
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and -'remain on file for
one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put up-
on its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
